Qiuru(Doris)Tong, young Chinese pianist.
She has been studying the classical piano since 5 years old. A recipient of many music awards from national and local piano competitions in Sichuan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Italy. She won the Third Prize in polyphony group of The Fourth Zhongxin International Music Competition in Singapore. She was third winner in Hong Kong ‘Mozart’ competition. In 2012, She was invited to perform in Imola Summer Piano Academy and Festival in Italy. In 2015, Doris hold her piano recital in China. In 2018, She was invited to perform in New Zealand.
Doris has performed in masterclass for Professor Ming qiang li who was Vice-president for Shanghai conservatory of music, Dr.Xiangyu Mao from The Juilliard School, professor Stefano Fiuzzi from Imola piano conservatory in Italy and Alexander Kobrin who was champion in Van cliburn international piano competition.
As a teacher, She is passionate about sharing her love of piano to her pupils. Her students range in various ages and levels. Those from beginners up to diploma holders and they have many experience in performing on stage and achieve excellent results in exams and prizes in competitions.
