Frank shi

Frank commenced his music journey when he was 7 years old by learning the piano, with four years of study, he obtained a grade 8 certificate from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. At the age of 16, with a happy coincidence, he was fascinated by finger style guitar playing and picked up his interest in this captivating and unique musical expression. In the following years, he was influenced by some of the world-class guitar players such as Tommy Emmanuel, Kotaro Oshio and Seiji Igusa. In 2019, Frank was invited to join an acoustic guitar crew named ‘ The Sound Lab’, together, they organized multiple performance events and street busking to the public. As the popularity grew, Frank started his guitar teaching career sharing his knowledge and experience in guitar playing and learning. Frank always feeds his class with humor and passion, he is able to build up a quick understanding of a student’s capability and adapt his teaching strategy accordingly.
