Sami Naseem

Sami started drumming at the age of 8, being taught by his first teacher (Tom Barker) for 4 years. Taking a year out in Australia he found himself performing at number of school events. After returning from Australia he played in a school rock band for a year, where they performed for numerous competitions. As well as this Sami found himself being taught by the author of the books he had learned, Andrew Agutters, from years earlier (his same teacher to this day). In high school he played in two school bands and two private bands. The school bands he drums in are the Guitar Ensemble (teacher Jim Morrison) and Jazz Big Band (conductor Alberto Santarelli). The Guitar Ensemble performs at a few events every year, and the Jazz Big Band regularly comes back from the KBB music festival with silvers and golds. The two private bands vary in size, they like to compose and record their own songs, and play gigs at local bars and cafes. Sami is enthusiastic with his drum lessons, teaching young student many interesting and fun tricks that will entertain the young students. With many years of performance experience in hand, he will guide the students to strife for excellence on stage!​
